I was selected to speak on the importance of visual designers and the impact the craft has on all phases of the design process, not only during the design phase. The conference was hosted by Accenture Interactive in November 2020.

Visual designers craft narratives that are built from thoughtful research and in order to design with intent, it's crucial to include visual designers in every step of the design process. This Equinox conversation dives into the importance of visual designers' role during the discovery phase and how that inclusion directly impacts the project's outputs.

After speaking to Asian, South and North American markets, the conversation about this topic continues – both within our Fjord DC studio and other studios worldwide. I had the opportunity to continue speaking with other visual designers to understand their ways of working and how they have adapted to include visual designers along every step of the design process. This is a passion project of mine, and one that I hope to continue diving into throughout my career, to be sure all designers have a voice at the table – regardless of level or discipline.
